
Diet Mini Burgers with Delicious Dressing
Nice, healthy and delicious appetizer or refreshments for visitors or just to revive your menu. If you like the taste of burger, try this more diet, mini no-bun version. Prepare these diet mini burgers together with this delicious dressing. They contain low amount of carbohydrates, fat and calories and vice versa more proteins. They are even gluten-free and egg-free, which makes them a diet and allergy-friendly version.
You will be ready in a few minutes. As most of my recipes, this meal is absolutely easy for preparation too - you only need one bowl, sheet and knife for vegetable. Enjoy the taste of burgers with an easy conscience and indulge these mini burgers on skewer. They really taste great and they will surely please all big and little eaters :)
Diet mini burgers with a delicious dressing can be served alone or with selected garnish - your favorite salad or celery fries in a diet version or with rice or sweet potatoes.
Ingredients
- 450g (15.9oz) minced turkey (or beef) meat
- 50g (1.8oz) cheese (preferably cheddar) - cut into thin cubes
- 2 tomatoes (or 1 cherry tomatoes)
- 3 pickles
- 13 tsp sugar-free ketchup
- 13 tsp mustard
- lettuce
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- For dressing:
- 200g (7.1oz) of Greek yoghurt
- 1 Tbsp olive oil (I recommend this one)
- 2 Tbsp sugar-free ketchup
- 1 Tbsp pickles water
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1 crushed garlic clove
- pinch of ground black pepper
- pinch of onion spice
Instructions
- In a bowl, stir minced meat with sea salt, ground black pepper and garlic powder.
- Make smaller balls from the mass (about 26 pcs), place them on the sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius (392 degrees Fahrenheit).
- On warm balls, place thin slices of cheese cut into cubes.
- Next, dose 1/2 tsp of mustard and 1/2 tsp of sugar-free ketchup on each slice of cheese.
- Skewer the remaining ingredients - piece of lettuce, slice of pickles, and piece of tomato and skewer into the meat ball.
- Prepare the dressing easily, just stir all the ingredients together.
- If necessary, you can customize it according to your taste by adding your favorite spices.
- Serve as soon as possible.
