All the ingredients in these balls create together perfect harmony of flavor. You can enjoy these no bake balls at any time during the day, and can quickly recharge your missing energy, for example before workout or during a strenuous hike. You will find healthy ingredients inside, such as oats, coconut, chia seeds, flaxseed, honey, cocoa nibs and peanut butter.
I recommend using the original cocoa nibs instead of chocolate pieces. Do you know why are they so healthy?
Every chocolate is made of cocoa nibs, but with processing of cocoa nibs it loses most of the valuable substances. Therefore, it is necessary to intake cocoa in its most natural form - uncooked cocoa nibs. Cocoa is among the so-called "superfoods". It contains around 300 chemically identifiable substances, making it one of the planet's most complex foods. Cocoa contains a wide range of minerals (iron, magnesium, copper, chromium, zinc, manganese), vitamins (especially C) and antioxidants (more than red wine, blueberries, goji, green tea and pomegranate together!). In nature it is the primary source of magnesium and organic sulfur, while magnesium is considered one of the most deficient minerals in the current standard diet, resulting in excessive occurrence of heart disease. Magnesium is participating on bone mineralization, periost and teeth enamel formation. It is also important for the formation of nails, hair and skin, activates more than 300 enzymes, affects performance, especially heart muscle, stabilizes the body's homeostasis, contributes to the proper prostate function, helps with digestion.
Regular consumption of cocoa nibs has positive effects on depression, reduces the risk of cancer, cardiovascular diseases, high blood pressure, promotes the activity of nervous systems, improves memory and increases vascular elasticity. Raw cocoa nibs have bitter taste and very chocolate flavor. Therefore, it is appropriate to add them into sweeter meals, but you can also consume them directly.
